National Honeybee Foraging Week


This week has been declared National Honeybee Foraging Week, to draw attention to the needs of these important little creatures and promote the sustainability of bee farming in the country.  Please plant bee-friendly plants this Heritage Day (24 September).

    1. I have loads of bees in our garden – they love almost anything really but especially the Brazilian Hawthorne. I tend to plant for butterflies and the sunbirds too but the host plant for the African Monarch butterfly (Milkweed or Goose Plant) has only attracted two so far 🙂
