Okay, so I did have these big dreams of never having to buy veggies again, but it went a bit wrong *sigh*. The pak choi bolted, the tomatoes got blight and the pitbull ate the broccoli (I swear). But I’m still fairly happy with what I harvested yesterday: Baby leeks and baby beets which I will roast with organic sweetpotato bought from the Saturday market and some freshly picked rosemary. They’re a little small, but drizzled with olive oil and Himalayan salt they are bound to be delicious!
Next problem is keeping my rosa tomato and sweet pimento pepper seedlings away from the birds and snails. Time to improvise!
